Ellison at 100: Reading Invisible Man
“Ellison at 100: Reading Invisible Man” commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of author Ralph Ellison with an abridged reading of Invisible Man. OCD worked with The Studio Museum in Harlem to develop the event identity and collateral. By weaving biographical information into the text of the novel, both texts were rendered (almost) invisible.
“Ellison at 100” was organized by The Studio Museum in Harlem and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and kicked off a year of programs and initiatives celebrating the Ellison Centennial.
